Children’s Voice Lessons

Children who love music and aspire towards a career in singing have found Marie Stultz to be an inspired teacher, beloved mentor, and experienced advisor.

Marie has been teaching students to sing for more than 30 years and many of her students indeed have gone on to a professional career in music. Her students usually range in age from 6 to 17.

“Excellence is the most important factor in making music with children,” Stultz writes in her book, Innocent Sounds. “My teaching experiences have proven that students respond enthusiastically to high expectations, expectations that produce astounding results.”

Marie’s teaching methods can help your child reach his/her full potential through a natural approach to singing. Her techniques and strategies also encourage children to become confident individuals and future performing artists in the highest sense of the word.

“As a teacher, once you realize that most children’s artistic abilities are limitless, then the capacity for learning, discipline, and singing achieves an entire new level of artistry. The result is an experience that is exciting for both the student and the teacher.”

In addition to training your child’s voice, singing will actively involve and expose your child to great literature, classical and contemporary music, other cultures, foreign languages, imagination, humor, and historic events. It also builds self-confidence, concentration, and inner-discipline. Numerous studies have also shown that classical music training also helps students excel in other fields such as math and science.

Marie has a limited number of openings in her teaching schedule. If you are interesting in learning more about voice lessons for your children, please email her at mirausa2@aol.com or call 978.664.4705.

“I have known Marie Stultz and her splendid work with the Treble Chorus of New England for over 15 years. She has a passion for the choral art with children that approaches missionary zeal. Marie’s contribution to the profession has been exemplary, unswerving, and profound. Her knowledge and research into choral literature for children is substantial and I have been grateful to her on many occasions for her tasteful, unique, and appropriate suggestions for repertoire. May her tireless enthusiasm flourish, and her work with singers continue to bring great joy and satisfaction to the singers and their audiences.”
